Big Steve's ABC is a liquor store in Inman, SC (pop: 1885). Jeff Wilson, like most business owners was looking for a system that was easy to use and kept within his budget. With automated special pricing, Big Steve's can put specific items or a whole department on sale at the same time. Bulk pricing, time based pricing, and mix n' match are all features that can be set ahead of time leaving your cashiers doing their job like normal. Like Jeff says, CRE was a "Very easy learning curve for my employees, even though they were computer-illiterate, they were using it and comfortable within an hour of starting" In addition to beer, Big Steve's sells an array of Vodkas, Tequilas, Canadian Blends, Bourbons, Rums, Gins, and Brandys.

One of the biggest time savers for Big Steve's ABC is the credit card processing. Instead of a bulky terminal from the bank, Jeff is using PC Charge Payment Server with online processing. Together with CRE, this provides for the fastest credit card transaction in the industry. His employees literally scan, scan, swipe, DONE! When the cashier is finished ringing up items, and the customer presents the credit card, he/she just has to swipe the card. That's it! No need to press a "credit card" button. Just a swipe of the card and the transaction is processed and sale is over.
