	Cash Register Express version 9.3 is out! A brand new version of Cash Register Express (CRE) has been released. Here are some of the brand new features: Redesigned Inventory Maintenance The biggest new step forward in version 9.3 is the brand new redesigned inventory maintenance screen. The new screen is much nicer looking, easier to use, and 100% touch screen compatible. Besides the aesthetic redesign the new screen also boasts many new features. These include: unlimited number of Tag-Along items (previously called Helper Items), each item can have a corresponding picture, multiple vendors can be associated with each item, brand new item type called Pass-Along items. The Pass-Along item is an easy way to select which product is being sold from a group of similar products. Debit Cards with a Pinpad Support has been added to Cash Register Express to let it work great with Debit Cards using a pinpad. Debit Cards have a lower processing fee and are steadily becoming more popular. A debit card can be processed in seconds with CRE and a high speed internet connection. Modifier Groups Modifiers in Restaurant Pro Express can now be grouped in many levels instead of just being in one long list. Ingredient Tracking Restaurants can now track their COGS and figure out what ingredients they will need for a given day. Retail stores such as candy stores can use this feature to turn raw ingredients into finished products. Plus much more. But I already own CRE. Can I Upgrade?
