Track and manage
inventory:
Use Pocket Inventory along with Cash
Register Express and Inventory Track Express to verify
and manage your inventory. Walk around your retail store
and let Pocket Inventory count your merchandise by
pointing and scanning the bar codes. Pocket Inventory
helps reduce shrinkage and keep your inventory
accurate.
Modify inventory:
Use Pocket
Inventory to modify the details on your inventory. You
can send your inventory list to the Palm Pilot, then
scan a bar code with Pocket Inventory and it will
display the description, cost, price, and
quantity-on-hand of that item. These fields can be
edited so you can make all of your changes on the fly.
When you are done, sync the data back to your computer
to keep your inventory accurate and
up-do-date.
 Track
assets:
Use Pocket Inventory to track assets. You
may need to have a list of chairs, tables, computers,
and other items in your office. What's missing and where
is it?
Add
inventory:
Now allows you to ADD a new item. When
you are in Edit Inventory mode, and you scan an item, it
checks to see if the item is in inventory, If it is not,
it displays a message asking you if you would like to
add. When this transfers to ITE, it goes in like a
regular inventory item and when it transfers to CRE, it
adds it to inventory.
Print Barcodes –

Purchase the Cognitive Code Ranger Plus
portable bar code printer and you are all set! Just find
the item in Pocket Inventory through its easy-to-use
item search, choose the number of bar codes that you
want to print, and point the Palm Pilot to the Code
Ranger Plus on your belt. It will send the bar code
information through an infrared signal and print your
bar codes!! (requires Stevens Creek's
PalmPrint).

 Pocket Register --
Taking portable invoicing to a new level
Imagine
this... It's your busy season and lines are stretched
around the store's perimeter. Children are getting
restless and the lines get longer and longer. Now

tired customers, print them a receipt and they can be on

Express for Windows (ITE 2000). This simple to use
program is the interface between your Palm Pilot (using
Pocket Inventory) or AMS 3000 portable data collector
and your PC. It easily captures the data from these
devices, automatically updates the data in MS Access and
will send the info to Cash Register Express for Windows
(CRE 2003) all at the touch of a button. Compare your
physical inventory with your CRE 2003 inventory to see
where you have discrepancies. Inventory control has
never been easier!
