The Datalogic Heron has been developed in order to meet the demands of a point of sale station. It provides high performance and an innovative design suitable for retail POS applications.

The new Heron, based on the "Instinctive Reading Distance" concept (from near contact to over 20cm), includes the "green spot" (Datalogic patent application), which provides "good reading" feedback directly on the code, where the user usually tends to be looking.

Exciting Feature: This barcode scanner will put a green light where you should line up a barcode. When the read is succesful you will see good read displayed on the barcode.
